Travis J. Petersen is an author, copywriter, and editor based in St. Louis, MO.
His debut novel, The Prayer of St. Francis, won Best Crime Fiction at the 2026 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, the world’s largest book awards program for independent publishers and self-published authors. An earlier unpublished draft of the novel was named Best Novel at the 2020 Utah Original Writing Competition.
